Details on the Auction

What is a Chimera/Mosaic Axolotl?

Have you ever heard of a chimera / mosaic Axolotl? This is when an Axolotl expresses two different morph variations. When the difference is split directly down the middle it's referred to as a chimera Axolotl. This means one-half of the Axolotl will display pigment of a certain Axolotl and the other half of the Axolotl displays another morph. There are rumors that the Chimera Axolotls themselves are two totally different Axolotls altogether (kinda like Siamese twins!) and can even turn out half female and one‑half male.

Despite all the controversy, we can all agree that Chimera/mosaic Axolotls are a rare thing of nature. There is a 0.00001% chance of this happening to an Axolotl and developing.

How will the auction work?

When there are chimeras/mosaic Axolotls available we will determine if they will be sold privately or auctioned off. The Axolotls will be labeled Axolotl (A), Axolotl (B) and so. The auctions will be held on a third-party site with secure checkout. The highest bidder will win the suction. The highest bidder will also receive 1 large-size bag of axolotls pellets for free.

In most cases, the auction will be held on Ebay.ca. You must create or have an account to participate. The auction will run for 3 days starting on a Friday morning and ending the following Sunday. The auctions are only available to residents of Canada.

Payment

Since in most cases the auctions are conducted through eBay so will the payments. The eBay POS system will allow you to check out using PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, American Express, and any prepaid or gift card from any of those companies.
