Shipping and Delivery
At this time, A Lot’l Axolotls ships merchandise to locations within Canada and the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.
International
Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. These charges and fees are determined by the customs office at the time of import. Contact your local customs office for details.
Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office or local by law to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. A Lot’l Axolotls is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
Wrong Shipping Address
When placing an order for an, please ensure the address you provide is written correctly and in full. A Lot'l Axolotls cut and paste the address on the order to the package exactly how it is receive it. A Lot'l Axolotls is not responsible for any addresses that were submitted incorrectly. If the shipment is returned to due to an undeliverable address, you must pay for the return postage (a courier charge for the return postage) and again the invoiced shipping cost for the items in order for you to receive the items. If free shipping was originally offered you must now pay a shipping fee. Your transaction is considered incomplete and payment is outstanding until you pay these fees and charges. As a result you will not receive the items until the fees are paid in full, all outstanding balances are paid, and the payment is cleared.
Package Coverage
A Lot'l Axolotls will automatically insure up to $100 CAD (One Hundred Dollars) of any damaged items in transit plus the shipping fees for registered packages (all registered packages come with a tracking number) if the package is lost. This coverage is considered a standard and is free of charge. By request of the customer, the package insurance coverage can be increased to a higher value, this additional coverage is only increased upon request from the customer as a small fee will apply. The insured $100 of coverage will be granted on a non expiring store credit which can be used to immediately replace the items lost or damaged in transit or saved to be used at a later time.
Sales Tax
A Lot’l Axolotls charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 business days, either party may initiate binding arbitration as the sole means to formally resolve claims, subject to the terms below. Arbitration shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator, in accordance with the rules of an established arbitration association mutually agreed upon by the parties. You agree that disputes are personal to you and A Lot'l Axolotls and that any disputes will be resolved solely through individual arbitration and will not be brought as a class arbitration, class action or any other type of representative proceeding. Unless you and A Lot'l Axolotls agree otherwise, the arbitration will be conducted in the jurisdiction where A Lot'l Axolotls is located. A Lot'l Axolotls shall not be liable for any claims, damages, or costs arising from or related to the arbitration process. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. These Terms of Service and the arbitration proceedings shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where A Lot'l Axolotls is based.
DOA
In the unlikely occurrence of DOA (Dead On Arrival), the cost of the deceased Axolotls up to $100 (One Hundred Dollars) will be replaced or refunded. Shipping charges will not be refunded and are not covered. By request of the customer only, a higher insurance coverage can be provided. A small fee will apply. On the occurrence of DOA, you must contact us within the first hour of arrival (confirmation by the delivery time provided by the courier) with pictures or videos verifying that the Axolotl is deceased. A Lot'l Axolotls may not be available to reply instantly but as long as the email, voicemail, or text message timestamp is within the first hour of your delivery confirmation time you will be covered. The covered amount will be put on a store credit, not the original payment method, which can be used to immediately replace the Axolotls or can be saved and used at a later date. The cost of shipping is not covered and is required to be repaid at the invoiced cost by you. Someone must be available to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt made by the courier. Failure to sign for the package on the first attempt, modified shipping method/date (by request of the customer), and shipments that are not next-day or second-day delivery will result in a avoid guarantee.
Return Policy
All sales are final. You may purchase merchandise or services from this Web site by using any one of the payment options listed in check out. A Lot’l Axolotls reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you. Refunds and store credits are approved on an individual bases for our DOA policy or items that are out of stock. All refunds will be issues as a store credit and not refunded to the original payment method. These store credits do not expire and will remain on your account as long as your account is active or until A Lot’l Axolotls ceases operations.
